Allure offers 2 different neuromodulators BOTOX® Cosmetic and Xeomin. Although BOTOX® is a brand name, neurotoxins are commonly referred to as "botox".

 

Using botox is one of the best tools to combat visible signs of aging.

 

Botox injections use a safe form of the botulinum toxin, which “paralyzes” the muscles at the injection site. With less movement possible in the affected muscles, the skin above them looks smoother and reduces the visibility of aging.

Botox can be used to:​

It often takes a few rounds of botox to truly see how you will respond to treatment and determine the frequency of your treatments. However, most patients schedule their botox injections every 3-4 months.

Over time, frequent botox use can weaken the muscles in the face, which means that you can spread your appointments out a little further.
